Hume Center for Writing and Speaking

Stanford's Career Ed office offers comprehensive career support to students, providing resources such as career counseling, workshops, networking events, and internship opportunities to help them navigate their professional journeys. Both undergraduate and graduate students have access to these resources throughout the academic year, with specialized programs and events tailored to the unique needs of each group.

How our students often use this resource:

  • Make an appointment with a Career Coach to help you with your job/internship search, career skills, or any other part of your career journey
    • Career Coaches serve students and recent alumni in teams based on their academic discipline and degree level, including Frosh/Soph, Doerr School of Sustainability, and PhD & Postdocs
  • Use their many digital resources like Handshake and Indeed Job Search Academy
  • Take headshots using the Iris Air Photo Booth in their office
  • Attend their workshops and career fairs that run every quarter

Branner Earth Sciences Library & Map Collections

Branner Earth Sciences Library & Map Collections offers specialized resources in earth sciences, including maps and geological data, alongside a variety of workshops on topics such as programming languages (R and Python), data visualization, GIS, manuscript studies, and copyright law as it applies to generative AI.
