Meet three students advancing sustainability efforts across campus
Three students share about their work and inspiration to expand sustainability at Stanford.
In classrooms and research labs across Stanford, a record number of students are learning how to address some of the most pressing environmental challenges of today. But outside of their academic pursuits, students are also engaging with climate solutions directly on campus. These efforts – whether through fellowships, volunteer opportunities, student staff positions, or personal passion projects – help advance the university’s climate goals while providing tangible experience for future leaders in sustainability.
In honor of Earth Day, we spoke with a few of the students involved in integrating sustainability into the culture, operations, and ecosystems of Stanford. Here’s a closer look at their impact and inspiration.
